ACCIDENT INSURANCE INSURANCE
VAV occupant accident insurance protects you and your passengers from the consequences of an accident and is therefore an important addition to your car insurance.

Scope of insurance
All accidents that occur in connection with the use of your car.
The driver and all passengers.
The agreed sum insured applies to the vehicle specified in the contract.
The sum insured for the individual insured person is calculated by dividing the lump sum insured sum by the persons insured at the time of the accident.
It increases by 100% if two people are insured at the time of the accident and 150% if three or more people are insured.
HANDLEBAR ACCIDENT INSURANCE
The authorized driver of the vehicle insured in the policy is insured.
What is insured?
The insurance covers the following personal injury and damage to property of the insured person as a result of a traffic accident in accordance with Austrian law
Loss of earnings due to personal injury
Maid service (limited to EUR 40.00 per day for a maximum of 25 days)
Property damage to the worn dress
• Initial psychological care after a faulty traffic accident with personal injury up to EUR 200.00 (if medically indicated)
Extent of compensation
The insurer's benefit per claim is EUR 100,000.00 within the scope of the
Flat-rate insurance amount limited. Notwithstanding Art. 6 AKHB.
The AKHB is the basis for driver accident insurance. Article 1 AKHB is extended to include driver's accident insurance.
The following are excluded from insurance cover:
the exclusions specified in Article 8 of the AKHB
Intentional or grossly negligent traffic accidents caused by the insured person
Accidents when getting on and off as well as loading and unloading
if the insured person did not wear the seat belt at the time of the accident
(exceptions are permitted exceptions within the meaning of the KFG)
the insured person is entitled to on the basis of legal or contractual regulations
Congruent claims due to the traffic accident against third parties (such as social insurance providers, employers, private health insurers), as well as claims for damages against third parties and their liability insurers (subsidiarity principle)
